Do we have a statement of faith? Yes, we do. Ffald y Brenin has been recognised as a member of the Evangelical Alliance for over 30 years. We’re committed to the historic creeds and doctrines of the church. As believers in orthodox trinitarian theology, our statement of faith can be found – well expressed in English, Norwegian, and various other languages – within the Lausanne Covenant, found here.
Recently, Daphne and I celebrated 20 years of leading Ffald y Brenin. We’d just returned from another speaking tour in Norway which involved 9 planes, 3 ferries, 1 four-hour train journey, and 10 cities – varying from Stravanger in the southwest to a snowy Alta in the Arctic north. There were lovely evidences of the Lord’s favour upon the ministry. We came back to a party, complete with food, worship, stories, and loads of laughter. It was a joyful time with our team, as we sought to honour the Lord through reminding ourselves of the events that have transpired over the last 20 years; some awesome, others hilarious.
Since then, we’ve held our autumn conference, known as KPG, with a full house. We’re constantly amazed at the Lord’s presence to save, deliver, and set people free. The arm of the Lord is not shortened, and Jesus Christ is always the one who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
