Ffald y Brenin is open once more, following two weeks closure for refurbishment. Oiled woodwork, shiny new fittings on doors and windows, some new soft furnishings, and the whole place decorated throughout. To say it shines would be an understatement. All the work was done by our team and close friends and they worked, laughed and prayed together unstintingly.
Decorating, polishing, oiling, choosing fabric, sewing; true servants of the Lord. Why did they work so hard and so cheerfully? It was for you, to make you feel more welcome than ever.
The key question, though, is whether the Lord is manifesting his presence here. We can be brim-full with lovely people but if the Lord is absent, we have missed our calling altogether. The verdict of those who have visited is – he is here! In fact, some leaders from a key European ministry said that we were in revival.
Now we are preparing for the second stage of refurbishment, taking place over a week in March, which will include new flooring and new carpets.
While the team were working so hard, Roy and Daphne were in Oslo, speaking and teaching during the Oslo week of prayer, and at Baerum. It is always thrilling to be in Norway where we have come to know and appreciate so many friends and fellow-workers for the kingdom of God.
